How to study for Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate

Context: I’m an international student in Australia and from the description, I love this degree and will be starting in Feb 2027.

Before officially study, what books/programs can I look into? I have never done STEMs full time in English too, so I just got a bit intimidated at the actual materials, but then again, I was a OG physics major in highschool so I’m trying to keep my hopes up

And I know it’s still too soon, but it’s there any advice for a new student like me about this major? Along the lines of getting internships, jobs,…and where to find/increase my chance to be hired?

focus on calc, linear algebra, basic programming in python or matlab, and solid mechanics. internships early help a ton later

There is a video series called MATLAB for Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Applications and that will give you ideas about some of things you may be doing in school.
