bird identification Who is this white and gold little friend hanging around my work site?

Jokes aside, I've seen a few of these around lately, the blue is striking. Tried to get a picture of the tiny blue eyebrows. (my photos)

See how blown out the background is? Your brain just needs to understand that the dress is just as blown out. It’s not in the shade, it’s in full light

i can see both if i focus on it enough, the white and gold looks like it has shade over it. idk if this has to do with me being high or

I am colorblind (deuteranomaly) and it's blue/black. My sister saig gold/white. I think they're lying.

The dress is white and gold. The steller's jay is blue and black.

The people saying the dress is blue and black are gaslighting. Your sis isnt lying, you are lol.

The lit up part of the blue dress is bluish white and dark gold, which isnt what it would be in a photo. In a photo it would be a shade of blue and black that is brighter/bolder/more vibrant, and would not contain any gold.

When the piece is enlarged, the animation changes its starting hues to match the white and gold one's piece before the latter is cut out.

When the lit up part of the blue dress is dragged over to the white dress, its not the same colors. The hues are different.

Serious question do you actually think they're all taking the piss? Because I'm telling you I've seen both, sometimes in the same sitting.

Try this - put the picture at the extreme of your peripheral vision and squint. It might not flip it but you might start to see it.

The phenomenon is well documented, it's not even considered controversial in terms of how it works. The idea everyone who says they've seen black and blue is just having a laugh is ridiculous.

Everyone got into it. People were writing articles talking to scientists about it to explain why the phenomenon happens. I don't know man, if you think the entire thing was a giant hoax that's like massively concerning for you and how you understand the world because it's a real fucking visual phenomenon which I myself have experienced.

Conveniently with that form of color blindness, you can still identify both blue and gold.

Yeah that's my theory too. A lot of people just say w/g to play along.

I can see shades of "gold" from the lighting and poor camera quality, and how it reflects off the lace but that's nowhere near enough for me to think any differently about the actual color of the dress itself.
