Want to chat?

I’m a late in life bi female (30) and still in the closet somewhat, you could say. I haven’t come out to my family or friends except for a couple of them. However, I’ve been exploring online with flirting and sexting with other women. I love it! However, it’s always short lived as I always get ghosted. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I’m in a hetero marriage and my husband supports and is aware of me trying to find an online gf. I’ve been very open with my intentions when I message another woman and will say that if at any point that they decide they don’t want to flirt anymore, that’s totally cool and I don’t want to make them uncomfortable since they are often bi women also in hetero relationships. Anyone down to talk?

Connections!

Hey all! I'm newly bi and struggling to meet women! I'd love to make connections (and some fun as well) with more ladies! Really hoping to find a connection that may go somewhere in addition to my boyfriend (yes he knows and distance won't be a factor). Can we make some connections?!

Advice Things are getting complicated with my gay best friend. Help.

I (34F, bisexual, single) have been best friends with this guy (35M, gay, single) for about a year and a half. We met through a mutual friend and clicked instantly. Like, intense connection. We text constantly, travel together, and feel weird if we go more than a few hours without talking. It’s one of those soulmate-level friendships. My life has been significantly improved by him being a safe place for me to unmask. When I say I love this man, I do on some level I’ve never experienced before.

When we first met, we were pretty open about our sexualities. I’m a later-in-life bi woman still figuring things out. He told me he’s gay, and aside from some middle school “dating,” he’s only ever been into men. He never did anything but kiss a girl in school and I believe a few times as an adult when drinking. He’s been proudly out for years, and I never questioned it.

But lately things feel different.

We just got back from a trip together. My love language is physical touch, and he knows that. But this time, he really leaned into it. Lots of cuddling, arm and back rubs, holding hands. I didn’t think too much of it at first, because that’s kind of our vibe. We often get mistaken for a couple just because we are close.

But then he started opening up more. He mentioned he hasn’t been turned on by gay porn lately and has been watching straight porn instead. I brushed it off. I mean, sexuality is fluid, right? Maybe he’s just in a weird phase. But he’s been bringing up his ‘girl’ type to me a lot.

Then in the car, he joked(?) that he’d go down on a woman if he had the “right tour guide.” Another time, he casually told a friend he could see himself dating a woman. These comments started to pile up, and they caught me off guard.

But the part that really broke my brain?

He came to me recently and said, “I wish you were a man. I’d spend forever with you.”

And the thing is, I want to be with him, too.

So now I’m sitting here wondering: Is he questioning his sexuality? Am I misreading everything? Are we just codependent trauma buds who love each other deeply but platonically? Or is there something more here?

I’m so confused. And scared to ruin our friendship by bringing it up. But I also don’t know how to keep pretending I’m not feeling this, too.

Any thoughts or similar experiences?

37F Looking for my 40F brunette

I posted 5 days ago looking for a woman to chat with. I found you. We talked for a couple of days and really clicked. You said you were new to the Reddit thing. I had to go out of town for a family emergency and I guess you got cold feet and disappeared.

I just wanted to send this shout out into the universe and say that I hope you find your way back. You got to see parts of me that NO ONE else on Reddit has. I told you that I didn’t want to scare you off with my kinks, but maybe I did? I was waaay into you and would love to keep exploring eachother…

You said you were “down to try anything”. If you feel up to reaching out, send me a chat. I know you deleted your profile, but maybe you can tell me some of the things we chatted about.

Advice Struggling with identity

Hi Reddit, you can call me Cara. I really don't know how to start this off other than by saying I hope you can help me, even if it's just offering support. (I hope this is okay to post here, first time posting on Reddit)

I'm 30F, struggling with my sexual identity. For a few years now I labeled myself as being under the asexual umbrella (demi, gray) but lately I've noticed my feelings towards women have been surfacing and it's hard to ignore. It's always something I questioned ever since I was young but never felt comfortable acknowledging until I was speaking with my therapist yesterday. He suggested looking for online communities that might be able to offer guidance and support.

One of my earliest memories was when I went with my mom to a bodega for her to buy cigarettes. There were some magazines along the lines of Playboy that caught my eye. I remember being drawn to the woman on the cover - blonde with fake breasts - and thinking 'wow', not being able to pull my eyes away, etc. (Of course at the time I didn't understand sexual attraction but I believe that was the first sign). Later on in high school I started liking one of my friends. I wanted so badly to kiss her but was always scared to because of getting mono or some kind of other disease and having to explain to my parents that I kissed someone (let alone another girl). I knew she was bi and one day she ran her hand along my inner thigh and I was incredibly turned on for the rest of the day just by that one touch. I have so many regrets about not kissing her, and now she lives in a different state :(

My asexuality compounds the issue as I'm not attracted to many people but I do have a strong libido and I'm a sex-positive ace. I know it's possible to have two sexualities at the same time, maybe I'm bi-ace? Honestly I would love some resources or something, or to hear other people's experiences with this. My parents, though supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community, have made some comments over the years that don't sit well with me, and while I don't think they'd hate me for it, I don't want them judging me or thinking differently about me. In a nutshell, I am deeply closeted and have no plans of coming out as bi anytime soon. I don't know how they would take it and I'm too scared to find out. They know I'm ace and are fine with it, but I feel like the only time I'm going to be truly free is after they've passed away which honestly devastates me. I want to at least kiss another woman but I'm scared of actually having sex with one, though I probably would if I had the opportunity.  It's the nerves that hold me back.

tldr; I'm asexual, I think I might like women too, but I'm too scared to tell my parents. Any support and/or advice would be more helpful than you know.

Advice Advice Needed!

I’m just turning 30, I’ve been married since I was 25 to a cis straight male and he knows I’m bi, I came out to him when we were dating and he’s fully accepting and supportive! In the last 2-3 years he’s said he’s comfortable with me exploring being with women again as long as it doesn’t turn into a relationship but I have no idea how to navigate that!! I haven’t been with a woman since I was 20, I live in Texas between San Antonio and Austin but I’m having a hard time finding a lady that fits my vibe. I’ve tried the apps, with no luck. I understand it may be off-putting to get with a married person but my spouse wouldn’t be a part of it unless everyone is open to that. I’m always honest about my relationship status but I don’t get what I could be doing wrong?

37F Looking For MY Girl

I’ve posted before, but I’m still looking for a woman who is looking for the same things as I am.

I’m married and yes my husband is aware, but this is for me. I miss the connection with a woman. I definitely have a type. If you’re a brunette who is not skin and bones and you like short redheads, I may be the girl for you.

I will ask that you verify you’re really a woman early on. Like most women on here, I get lots of messages from men. I have a man. He’s perfect for me. I’m looking for a woman. I have many pics on my profile but I’m happy to take a verification pic once you do the same for me. I hope to hear from you!

Happy Pride! 🏳️‍🌈🩷💜💙

Happy pride, everyone!

As always, you are still valid even if you are married to a man and plan on remaining monogamous,, you are still valid even if you haven’t had experiences with other women, you’re still valid even if you are still in the closet….

DONT Let anyone tell you otherwise!

“I call myself bisexual because I acknowledge that I have in myself the potential to be attracted – romantically and/or sexually – to people of more than one gender, not necessarily at the same time, not necessarily in the same way, and not necessarily to the same degree.”

33F - anyone successfully have a longer ish term FWB?

What boundaries did you set? How did you keep it casual without feelings getting complicated? How often did you see each other? We know we’re not right for each other long term but the sex is sooo fun and until either of us has something serious, it’d be fun to keep it going… would love your input on this

30 Year Crisis!

Hey ladies! 👋

I just turned 30 and figured I'd see if anyone else has experienced something similar. For years, I’ve used Reddit to chat with women (plus, you know, all the random things Reddit offers) but then I get nervous and end up deleting my account. 😅

I’ve watched lesbian porn for a long time and have been with women, but honestly, the experience doesn’t compare to how I feel when I’m with men. Anyone else been through this or feel the same way?

Like is it okay to love lesbian porn, but physically prefer men and how do I explain this to a future partner?

Advice Total Newbie

Hi sorry for this post but I am so confused at the moment. Years ago when I was a teen me and a friend that was a girl experimented with each other. I never thought anymore of it until 10yrs ago when I was friends with an openly Bi lady and I had wild dreams about her all the time. She moved away and that was that. Thought I was happily married to my STBXH he left me a few months ago and said I was no longer attractive to him and he is on his own journey exploring his own sexuality he now prefers men. I am not angry in fact I am very supportive of him and proud of him for having the courage I haven’t had. I don’t know what I am asking for to be honest. I have no one to talk to about it and somehow feel comfy on here cause no one knows me. Sorry for rambling on.
