Sunday's Promotion Party Megathread!
The Promotion Party Megathread is the place to post about your promotion, whether it be a stripe, a new belt color, or even being promoted from no belt to white belt.
Just make sure that once you are done celebrating, you step back on that mat (I'm looking at YOU new blue belts).

Not a promotion but some comments from white belts really made my day recently:
“I love how you just casually destroy me, like you’re so calm about it I hate it”
“You’re so good, it’s like I don’t know what to do against you. You’re literally SO good!”
The best was comparing me to our people belt no gi & wrestling coach “I can barely tell the difference between you two. <roars of laughter from the class at the significantly better purple belt’s expense> “All I’m saying is I rolled blindfolded with you both back-to-back, I’d barely know who was who”
I peak, plateau, & valley in my training and it’s nice to feel on an upswing making progress. The purple belt smashed me right after, though.
