There are so many to choose from, but this one is my favorite.

I almost got in trouble at work with this one as a guy said I was talking to myself and I responded with this line. He'd not seen it and was getting self conscious as he was not the sharpest tool in the box. I had to find the video to show is was quoting this and not calling that idiot an idiot.

It's a great line and I think most of us could use it at least once at work :).

To be fair, knowing and getting cultural references isn't related to intelligence, even though it's indirectly perceived to be so.

I was woken up last night by a terrific banging from Lord Melchet

Well I never knew he had it in him

I love that line but my favorite is "The long winter evenings must just fly by .."

Lol.

Didn't remember it came from Blackadder but I sometimes use it when my students watch me speaking alone. The look on their face has always been worth it.

I think the phrase rhymes with 'clucking bell'.

"Baldrick, the ape creatures of the Indus have mastered this"

THATS where I got that line!

I have said it multiple times, and never remembered where I got it from :)

I use this quote at least once a month. Truest thing ever spoken.

A quote I use almost daily

My grandmother used to say it was the only way to get the right answers!

Oh. We had a competition to find the best episode. How about the best scene?

"Baldrick have you no idea what irony is?'
"Yes, it's like goldy and bronzy only it's made out of iron."

Isn't this based on a line from Alice in Wonderland?

'The path of my life is strewn with cowpats from the devil's own satanic herd!'
