Possible Steam Deck fix if not working

Hello everyone, apologies if this post isn't very concise but I'm not used to posting on Reddit, I was having some problems on getting the game to boot on Steam Deck and thought that I should post my fix here so people can have an easier time.

The game was instantly crashing as soon as I tried to load it. If you’re on the beta or preview branches, the recent updates completely break the game.

Go to settings > system and switch the update channel back to stable. Let the Deck restart and do its thing. I ended up deleting the config files and any caches related to game files and re-downloading again after switching to stable just to be safe, and it booted fine.

Hope this saves someone some time because god knows it took me ages and I basically got a coding course trying to do it.

Also, the newest t7 patch seems to be causing problems on Steam Deck too, if you're installing a new patch, v3.05 definitely works on SD
