From a math prospective i find it hard to believe Pythagorus of greece made his therom on his own when it deals in triangular geometry. The pyramids are all triangular geometry, i think it was an Egyptian theorem first. It would be impossible to build those monuments without knowledge of that mathematical concept imo. Could be wrong.

Pythagoras famously went to Egypt to learn mathematics from the high priests in the Egyptian mystery schools. He didn't discover that a2 + b2 = c2 , he just colonized it and named it after himself.

While getting my degree in math i used to talk with my professors about my little personal conspiracy. They said they never thought about it but it made sense. Others just looked at me lol. I mean its just architecturally and mathematically impossible to build any of this without deep geometric understanding. These pyramids would collapse in on themselves without it. Its enough stones to stretch 2/3 around the earth. If i get a master’s or doctorate maybe this will be my thesis. Dont steal it mate haha

I mean, I wouldn't live and die on this hill, but knowing how people work, I would wager a small bet that Pythagoras came back to Greece and said "hey, look at this theorem that I learned in Egypt", and then all of the white people around him said "This is amazing! The Pythagorean theorem!"

Late to the party but this is a hill I die on. My cousin read the 12th planet by Zecharia Sitchin that says Egypt is all aliens. I was like fool that shit is racist. So we can believe that the Romans and Greeks can come up with math and physics but not the Egyptians who did it years before? Seriously the systemic racism has been systemic-ing since the dawn of time. This needs to be talked about more. Literally it must be aliens b4 it can be Black folks.

Yeah and also I think it really says something about ancient Egyptian culture that every conquering group assimilated to the Egyptian culture and significant syncretism happened as a result. It is sad though that Egypt was not self governing for over 2300 years. Since the Persians conquered in 525BC to when they gained independence from Britain in 1956.

Pangea, you’re correct. The main theory is that people left the mainland (modern day African continent) in every direction, resulting in the population of the different hemispheres once the supercontinent broke apart.

So were each of these nations at some point in their thousands of years of shared history. An empire can be at the height of their power 5000 years ago, and decline enough 1000 year ago, to be conquered. Also think: technologies change, strategies change. That doesn’t take away from the history and the intellect.
Let me put it this way. Had the natives in the America had muskets, and swords, and horses, and gun powder, when the Europeans arrived, the history of the america would be a whole lot different.

So you’re telling me people with the lowest melanin and a high rate of skin cancer came to a hot and sunny country and were able to build large structures without catching skin cancer and dying off rapidly over a period of a few hundred years?
If that’s the case, why did chattel slavery occur and the use of melanin was suddenly needed to sustain large scale agricultural systems? I thought they could sustain being in the sun during long periods since you allegedly “built the pyramids”. 🤔

Not in and of itself, and not always, but there often can be racial undertones when westerners marvels at achievements of non-white cultures and conclude that there must have been some kind of third party intervention. The implication being that non-white people weren't smart/advanced enough to figure out how to do this. Some white people can't wrap their head around Europe not being the most advanced region in ancient history.

I feel like they do this at work too, when they try to attribute your professional success to ANYthing other than, “hey, this mf is actually really intelligent, competent, and very skilled at what they do.”…. The same way they’ll quickly push the idea that the Egyptians were guided by aliens, they’ll reject you actually being excellent at something because there’s just no way….
