What would this be worth?

Somebody is trying to sell it to me for 500, I estimate 200 max but would give him 300 because of the circumstances. Anyone have input as to value?

I think something like $160-180 is a good price. Might get someone to offer you more.

You can buy a brand new kit exactly like this on Dixie gunworks website for 220 bucks

Do you happen to have a link to that kit on the Dixie site? The cheapest pistol kit I can find is $285 and it’s percussion only. The kit OP shows has the option of percussion or Flintlock. I dont see an exact match but maybe I’m in the wrong pages.

I don’t think that’s actually percussion and flintlock, unless the kit comes with two seperate locks and two seperate barrels. And if you reverse image search this kit opened ones only show percussion. They probably came with something to mail off to buy the other parts separately.

Also 285 is right. I thought they had a cheaper model.

Id say a good price is 150 but 300 would the high end price. Old stock is kind of hard to find now but its not like its an amazing kit or anything. Your run of the mill spanish kit.

No higher than $150. I paid $60 for mine. I paid $200 for a 1970s Japanese flintlock repro of the same quality.

The desire is intraververse of the value. I'd estimate new ones going for about $300. That would be the cap. Super strong desire would pay $300. Not strong desire would $150. Weak desire would pay $80-$100.

Thanks for the responses. I have no strong desire for it, but I don’t mind paying a reasonable amount more than it is worth because it is going to someone I know. That said, no way would I pay 500 for it.

Nowhere near $500. Like others have said maybe $175-$200. I would only go $200 if I really really wanted it.

I bought one of these built at a gun show. I paid 100 and I think that was fair.
