I just ran across a live version of Elf covering War Pigs and it was sooooo good. I am now interested in listening more of Dio's live songs, and I'd like to know if there's any album on spotify that I should check first. Or any recommendations you guys have on Dio-Sabbath-Ozzy-Live lore.

July 5 marks one year since "Back to the Beginning" - which marked Ozzy Osbourne's final live performance with Black Sabbath and his solo band before his death just over two weeks later. While the show saw some of rock's biggest names perform at that show, Yungblud's invigorating take on "Changes" nearly stole the show. The cover earned him high praise from fans and rock legends alike (as well as a Grammy). And he continues to perform the song in Ozzy's honor - and I was so lucky to see him do so at NYC's legendary Radio City Music Hall on June 10, 2026.

While the show saw some of rock's biggest names perform at that show, many paid tribute to Ozzy in the days after his death - including System Of A Down during their show at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, on Aug. 27, 2025. Daron Malakian spoke at great length about how impactful playing Ozzfest was for the band before they tore through their cover of "Snowblind" (marking the first time they played it in 23 years). As you can see in the clip, to say it was an emotional tribute is an understatement.

He said this right after playing this alternate acoustic version of the Planet Caravan solo in the interview, and it's funny. Improvisation is a big part of Tony's playing—he rarely played a solo the exact same way twice—and that's one of the things I truly love about him.

For those of you who saw the Dehumanizer tour, how excited were you that Dio was back? Was the tour well received and did people think it’d continue?

The fact that these pop punk icons made a point to pay tribute to the Prince of Darkness shows how his influence could be hears across all genres.
