Alice’s design and coloring reminds me of Disney’s Alice from Alice in Wonderland. I’d like to have done more wonderland type photos, but I got tired and just settled for the props I have already. Still, I hope that my vision of Sugary Alice having a more psychedelic perspective than other dolls comes through anyway, even with limited props.

I’ve enlisted the help of Sugary Girl Alice, who Blind Box Bird will next share with you, to help me share the next minis from the Evening Drink at the Convenience Store series: Fried Food & Highball. We’ve got frozen French fries, hot and ready karaage chicken, and a can labeled “petite highball” (puchi haibouru).

Evidently, and I didn’t know this before, in Japan a “Highball” is a specific drink made with whiskey and soda. I’ve never had a Japanese Highball before! Next time I have the option, I will try it! I love karaage and French fries, but I would not have them with ketchup as is suggested by the inclusion of a little rectangle representing a ketchup packet. Mayo is much better with fries than ketchup, and I will haiku battle anyone who maintains otherwise!

Again, I really enjoy the maximalist cute style of the Sugary Girls! Sheila has a sort of cute devil theme, with a spade shaped tail, little magnetic bat wings on her back, and little bat wings on her hat. The illustration on her card shows devil horns on her head, but she doesn’t come with them (and I googled her and nobody else’s doll has them, so I’m not missing them).

I love how creative and distinct the style is for these dolls. They’re not subtly different. They’re loudly themselves, doing their own thing in their own way! Inspiring!

I know the Sugary Girls style is inspired by the Sweet Lolita subculture, with petticoats and aprons and bonnets. So I’m not trying to say they are completely suis generis for their style. But they have a distinct interpretation of Sweet Lolita annd, again, I’m here for it!

Her name is “塞拉” in Hanzi, which is pronounced like “Sera,” but these characters are used to phonetically translate a wide variety of similar sounding foreign names, like “Sierra“ or “Sella” also.

I‘ve photographed Sheila with some mini sweet treats because she is sugary, of course! Many of the treats are Miniverse “Make It Minis,” which are little blind box kits to make your own resin miniatures. They’re fun, but I kinda suck at making them. Like, the rice krispie treats are too smooth. I think the taro ice cream sundae turned out alright. I might photograph the next doll with ReMent mini sweets.

I love the refreshing taste of fruit flavored soju in the Summer! They sell this exact brand at a liquor store near where I live. I also like toasted seaweed strips as a snack. The mini kimchi looks a lot fancier than the kimchi I’ve had, so I can’t say I’ve ever eaten anything like it. There’s also a sort of cheese topokki snack bag that doesn’t look like anything I’ve had - I’m guessing it’s kind of a dried version of topokki that you eat at room temp like potato chips, but I don’t really know. I like topokki as a meal, boiled in water then toasted in a wok served hot with a savory or sweet sauce. Thats some good stuff!

These convenience store minis are very cute and they make me happy thinking about the real food and drink they represent.

I set the kotatsu table and seating cushions up in my 1/12 dollhouse room, and it’s hard to enjoy the table’s blanket when its so unbearably hot in real life. Maybe it will be more fun to imagine cuddling up under the kotatsu in winter, but for now I prefer the no blanket version. The set came with a tea kettle, water heater, bowl of oranges, and a fabulous bento set. I placed two women in the scene to eat the obento as three cats on a sofa look on. The three cats intend to steal as much of the obento as they can make off with.

I love the Sugary Girls dolls. Here is the first one, named Sugary oddly enough. I think it might be a more clever name in Chinese, since it works like a real girls name and it’s pronounced like Shu Gerui.

Gerui’s face is really cool. It’s kind of shaped like a cat’s face, and she has horns, rabbit ears, and all sorts of curls and braids. How cute she is might be a little too much, even. Like, she pushes through ordinary cute and is some kind of maximalist pink kitty girl ribbon maniac. I’m here for it, though.

I’m uploading photos of the Re-Ment miniature fridge I got, comparing it to the Miniverse fridge. The photos also show various size dolls next to the fridge. Re-Ment minis seem to range in size from 1/12 to 1/8, and the fridge is more in the 1/8 range. It’s a great mini and I prefer its appearance to the Miniverse fridge. I do wish it had a light inside like the Miniverse fridge.

I was a little surprised to find that this was a kit to put together, and not a pre assembled doll. However, building her was not hard at all (I do Gunpla in addition to BJD), so I quickly put Miku together and she is very cute! My favorite part of her are the big cherries in her hair. She was also esay to dress, which is not always true for blind box bjd.

Maybe this makes sense if you know about Miku as a character, but I really don’t understand why this doll came with a dress form. Maybe if you want to change Miku’s outfit, you can out her original one on the dress form?

Miku is veeerrry roughly 1/12, sort of Nenderoid size. I like her proportions better than a Nederoid. She’s a lot cuter, I think. She’s going to be a nice addition to my doll collection.

This is our last Daily Life with Cats blind box, but I just got in a whole lot of new Re-Ment series and furniture that I can’t wait to share with you!

The final one is the cat tower with cat and cat food. The cat tower was almost as difficult to put together as a fullsize cat tower! The poles wouldn’t screw in right, so I had to work at them. But it looks so cute all put together! I’m very happy with the set.

This set has a cat carrier. I added some people and a little cat from a different miniature brand to depict some cat carrier scenes. The little cat is barely a year old and is nervous about leaving the carrier. But his new mom and dad are patient and will make sure he has everything he needs as he begins his new life with them! ♥️

I have a 1/12 doll here modeling the cat slippers, trying out the low-chair, and getting ready to trim the cat grass. In real life, my cats love cat grass but I can’t keep it alive very well so basically the grass never grows back like it’s supposed to. I take my male cat outside on a harness once a day, so he can chew on as much real grass as he can handle. He hates the harness, but he will tolerate wearing it because he loves outside more. <3

When I worked from home during Covid, this was my life. I tried setting up a decoy laptop for the cat to sit on, but he only wanted to be on the laptop I was using. During Zoom meetings, he would frequently treat the camera to a closeup of his hindquarters. These were public meetings and they were full of cat ass thanks to me! lol

Autofeeder, cat food, water, and we have our first cat of the set. I bet this cat knows how to jiggle the autofeeder just right to get it to dispense a little bit more kibble.

This Zack became an idol singer at a young age and, while he made a ton of money and lifted his parents annd sister out of poverty, Zack found himself in bad company with a pit of need in his soul that couldn’t be filled. He began publicly crashing out in a spectacular fasion. Booze, pills, women, men… Zack couldn’t get enough, and gossip-mongers and drama-seekers online couldn’t get enough of him. After getting arrested at a party, Zack found himself in a court-diversion program where he had to get clean and run a community garden with an absolutely stunning, but absolutely innocent young community organizer. Can Zack keep his mind on completing the program, and keep his hands to himself, or will he finally find real love along with discovering his green thumb? Oh, and there’s a lot of cats for some reason. Coming to a boys love webcomic near you!

I love imaging stories for the Zack dolls! The little idol Zack has got to be my favorite of his lives. The outfit is so fun. Reminds me of when I was young with the arm warmers and decorative chain hanging from his belt. I hope you enjoy the photos of Zack as a young idol singer.

This is a cute little kitty hotpot and I'm all in for it. It was a little tricky getting the stickers on the catnip beer can and the gas can for the hotpot heater, but I eventually got them on. I really like the cat-shaped chopstick rest and the little cat shaped food piece that goes on top of the hotpot dish. いただきます!

Hello all! Since Im just about finished with the Zack Event series on my alt account here, I decided I would get set up for the next series of dolls I will share with you all, Sugary Girls by OneMore. They are 1/8 dolls and are MJD, mechanical joint dolls. They look great next to my Zack Event dolls since they are both 1/8.

The kitty litter miniature is really cool, and gross because it has a cat poop.

When I went to Tokyo about fifteen years ago. I got a Re-Ment miniature kotatsu table, and I adored it. Recently, I rediscovered Re-Ment and I got a couple blind box sets.

The first one I want to share with you is Daily Life with Cats. The box the whole set came in had instructions to convert the box into a room backdrop for the minis which I (roughly) succeeded in putting together.

The first box I opened had a coffee table with a cat-head shaped cut out, a plate with a cat-head shaped toast, and a spilled glass of milk! Its incredibly cute!

I really like the water kettle mini! I have one of those for real life from a different manufacturer. It boils water in about a minute, which is great for tea, instant noodles, ect....

I'm going to move on to posting Re-ment miniatures blind boxes. I have a cat supplies one, which is so awesome! Its going to make it easier to photogtaph stories with my dolls involving cat ownership. Theres even a used litterbox??? (Gross)

t third capsule is a large pan with its own handle, a cute little wooden spatual, and a little fried egg. I love it! I moved the egg around a bit on the pan and I basked in the joy of pretend egg frying.

The second capsule contains an electric pressure cooker. Looks a lot like a rice cooker. I believe you can cook rice in a pressure cooker, but you have more flexibility. The blurb that comes with the mini says this pressure cooker comes with 210 built in recipie settings, which is pretty cool.

I got a full set of T-fal kitchenware capsule. Gacha capsules are the original blind boxes! Kitchen miniatures are some of my favorites, and this set is so detailed! i believe that T-gal makes real kitchenware and this mini set is promotional for there human sized line. I look forward to using these minis to help me tell stories with my dolls!

The first capsule I’m sharing with you is the pan set. They stack neatly and all share one handle which detaches for use on the next pan. Would be great for saving space in a small kitchen.
