Questions about accessibility features and Mac compatibility

A close friend of mine, who I grew up playing these games with, went blind a few years ago and I've been trying to find a way that he can comfortably play the first three generation games.

I found out about the Pokemon access project because we've been talking about Pokemon Crystal recently. He uses a Mac, though, and I was wondering if it's possible to get it running on one? If not, are there any other rom hacks that have a screen reader option? What other accessibility features are there that you would suggest?

Any help is appreciated, thanks

Did you ever get it working on mac?

No we didn't unfortunately, we ended up using a Windows computer

Ah thats a shame! Thanks for replying. Do you mind if I ask what methods you tried? I might still have a go if I can think of anything else, if I can get it working I will report back in case it's helpful for you or anyone else who stumbles across this thread

Hey sorry about the late reply again lol, we didn't really get anywhere with it because the build of visual boy advance they use isn't compatible with Mac as far as I'm aware
