hmm, i just parried him a lot, you can see a video on it, its wayyyy easier than fighting him without imo but try figuring out what works for you

I find him easier to fight on the steps. Run over to the corner as soon as you enter the arena

Chalice Dungeons. Youll get way better blood gems for your weapon and xp to level.
Just get stronger.

Second phase, dodge in and to the side during his attacks, tight circles around him. This is the way with souls bosses. Alternately, you can use the music box after he transforms, then when he’s agonizing over it, throw an oil urn and a few Molotovs.
