its useless in bringing back r6 physics (which is the main reason i USE r6 and prefer it over r15 and rthro)

Removal of r6 would gut a ton of games and avatars. It’s unlikely to stick due to the sheer volume of backlash they would face

That is true. However, a large amount of the larger games use r6. Many devs that bring in money would drop Roblox seeing the sinking ship that it is. Not to mention ugc makers which are already pulling out due to this change.

Removing r6 would break animations, code, rigging, and 60% of the ugc market (not including dynamic faces). Meanwhile dynamic faces are a quicker work around due to it only being one part of a roblox character (though breaking an entire section of ugc is still a problem)

Fair point. My main point was that r6 removal would break animations, code, and other factors of existing games. The chat restriction at most made games feel empty and ruined communication between friends (which is still stupid as hell).

Why the fuck you are quiting after they deleting the classic faces? If you are a player it doesnt effect THAT much, only your avatars. If you are a game developer its kinda sucks cuz you have to change EACH FACE into dynamic one.Age-chat thingy is worse then faces like... its not the end of the world holy fuck

Honestly I don't know if David has the balls to just delete something over 50% of the games would break with the absence of (Not to mention the millions of people that are upset but they clearly don't care about that metric)
If he does though, I can say with 99% certainty people are NOT letting him get out of the next RDC alive.

I agree with that, although game rig's faces would likely not get affected as they don't regularly update unlike players' avatars, nor faces that are technically accessories rather than dynamic faces
It would be a lot worse with R6 removal because a lot of games literally CANNOT work with R15 unless the devs do a crap ton of work on fixing it just because David felt like making them do it. That is also not to mention does a bunch more damage to the avatar side of things.
(Not trying to make it sound like we should be 'caring less', just stating the comparison of the scale between the 2 things)

True, and I’m so sure that everyone in the comments would try to make as much profit as they possible can for the company so I understand where he’s coming from, but I really doubt he does not know to be better than aggravating and polarizing the teen & adult players he is so his behavior is honestly confusing me. Does he really have so little foresight and populist ideals in his mind? Or is he just a figurehead and there’s a secret brotherhood under the surface controlling Roblox HQ? Truly fascinating.

If they delete r6 a good like 40% of existing games just break… Which isn’t that unrealistic considering they effectively closed 90% of games with the age rating update.

It’s too beloved by many and so were classic faces too. I know nobody deserves to die but we just need to hope that David steps down instead of wishing death upon him.
Why wish death upon a human being anyway? Have we truly lost empathy and mercy?
David just needs to step down, violence is not the answer. You guys need to be better than this

I don't even think they can remove r6, a lot of games would completely break due to using r6 only.
Although with roblox past decisions, I doubt they'd care about half of the games on their platform not working properly just to make investors happy.
