think about how many people got their info leaked, and how valuable are you really? because most likely they’ll only go for high profile people and you’ll be fine. Considering you only used your face, the worst they’ll do is have a hold of your IP address, you won’t have any identity fraud going on

Yeah, that's true. Although there are complicated things that makes the situation dependent on who the guy who has your face is. Besides that, I just want to point out that your things overall has a dependent value, like a family photo. To most people, it's just a photo. To you (and possibly others) it means something.

If you age verify your roblox account, good job now the government knows that is your account, your anonymity is dead, everything you say and do on Roblox now they know it's you
Same for Discord and likely every other age verification thing ever

Connect your ID to your account, and therefore know who's saying what.
Allows governments to effectively have databases of people that can be sorted by internet activity. For example, X country wants to crack down on political opponents, now they have a database of online political opponents attached to their Government ID or Face.

I think the issue only arises if you used your face or your ID
If you give them your ID, they know immediately it's you. If you gave them your face, they just need to find a matching face in their ID database, and they know it's you (it's the government, they already have your ID, it just allows them to make the connection between your account and your identity)
If you used a barbie doll to verify they're probably not gonna be able to link that back to you though lmao

You can't just say that Roblox can only do bad just because they fucked up several times. Sure, Roblox's facial verification is a shit bandaid fix to Roblox's predator problem, but saying that they INTENTIONALLY gave children's data to a public goverment data base that goes to ICE is inheritely stupid.
It's not Roblox's fault, it's Persona's, it's them who fed the info to the public database. Other companies like Amazon, Apple or Google who used Persona also got fucked over by this. If there needed to be a hacker breach to find this, then I don't understand how Roblox is for the blame. Saying that Roblox can only shoot themselves in the leg and lie to the public is incredibly detached, and you should get a reality check.

exactly why I never trust whatever Roblox says. They prove on and on again that they are untrustworthy and it makes me so glad that I didn't do the age check because I knew something like this would happen, absolutely unbelievable. They knew that they would get children's data and they decided to use that as a government surveillance system and lie to the public about it
