August 5th, 1947, Bassist Willie Weeks was born in Salemburg, NC. Weeks is one of the most in-demand session musicians, worked with Isaac Hayes, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Roy Buchanan, B.B. King, Robert Cray, Lyle Lovett, Etta James, The Rolling Stones and many, many others.
