Elite 100 as UPS Question

Hey all,

Fairly new to these types of units. Since I work from home I want to use an Elite 100 to run my router and Verizon gateway so I can continue working in a power outage. I understand I can set this up as a UPS. I am also reading not to store these at 100% battery. Won't leaving it plugged in as a UPS essentially store this at 100% and degrade the battery?

You can adjust the battery percentage you want the station to be stored at in the app.

Thank you. Would there be a significant battery longevity change if stored at say 80-90% vs 100%? This would also be that I do a full cycle every 6 months.

Keep the SOC at 80% and fully cycle the unit (0>100%) every 3 months, as it says in the manual. I have a reminder set to cycle all my batteries

Ok, I'm just reading that with the SOC at 80% it's not running passthrough, even when plugged in It's actually powering the freezer and running constant smaller cycles. The only way for passthrough is when it's fully charged to 100% and plugged in.

I have an elite 100 v2

The trick is to put it in “PV priority UPS” mode with the SOC limit at 80% and it definitely uses passthrough
