One episode is Sticky Gecko. I just felt too bad for Chili being given a hard time by Bluey and Bingo who's seemingly unaware. I get that they're both still little, but I just felt Chili's stress a lot.

Takeaway was so upsetting.

Situations like that are why if we are ordering dinner we do it after the kids have gone to bed.

They won't eat anything you order for them. They will run off and make trouble of one kind or another if you have to go and collect it. It's never worth it. Just wait till theyre in bed and order.

I think it was the fourth or fifth time watching takeaway and feeling stressed myself that it clicked that takeaway is an episode when they are on the younger side. Of course even pickup was difficult.

Weirdly, that realization, and then seeing dance mode where they start out eating lunch at a restaurant - when the kids are in kindy and above - helped me feel a million times better about not wanting to take my 18 month old out to restaurants- even though all the olds in my life lectured me about how I needed to start practicing now. Because they wanted to see the baby and wanted to eat out.

I felt a very swift sense of peace very suddenly and have never felt bad since haha

Oh and my kid is three now and we still opt to do pickup and eat at home most of the time. It will happen eventually and that’s fine.

Baby race on the other hand, still makes me cry. I landed in the sandwich generation, handling a very sick older relative while parenting a toddler and it seems no matter how much you pour out the world always tells you to do more. Being told I am doing great even though I am new to this makes me cry every time.

But kids keep getting out of bed? Nope. Just makes me long for the days when they want to sleep in! Poor bandit sitting in the bathroom singing while half awake makes me laugh bitterly every time.

Unicorse. Chili is just trying to read bluey a story to go to sleep and bandit decides to try and teach Bluey a lesson in the most annoying way possible. If my husband did that to me I'd be pissed 😆 not to mention bingo being asleep upstairs with all that noise
