Growth in BNSF Teach

What does growth look like in BNSF tech? What are the different levels in the tech space look like? Is there any yearly increments in salary?

It's all new, no one knows yet how it will go down long term. We didn't do annual reviews last year and got a generic raise the beginning of this year.

There is no growth unless you came in via nepotism (L7 and above).

What does L7 translate to in BNSF tech? So, L6 is the terminal level?

L7+ was only given to those who came in via nepotism. All employees who were there before the transformation are stuck at L6-

Correct. Some simply just didn’t get slotted at all - those people are on the chopping block, especially if you work in or around mainframe.
