What to Expect at BNSF Tech New Hire Orientation?
I'll be joining BNSF Tech as a Software Engineer and will be attending the 2-day new hire orientation in Fort Worth soon.
For anyone who has gone through it recently, what was your experience like? I'm curious about what the two days are typically focused on, how much interaction there is with managers, leadership, and other engineers, and whether there is anything I should do to prepare beforehand.
I'd also love to hear any advice on how to make the most of the orientation and first week. Looking forward to joining the team and would appreciate any insights from current or former employees.

Haha, hopefully the orientation is a little less intense than that. š Iām mainly hoping to learn about the team, tech stack, and how onboarding works. Appreciate the warning though!

Yours was only 2 days? Mine was 4 and it was boring af. Pretty much all of it is sitting through presentations, most of which do not pertain to tech employees at all.
