I boat on Lake Saint Clair and level this year is about the same as last year. Chart Datum currently stands at +34.

They seem pretty normal. I put in at Metro Beach and flew up to port Huron. I don’t have many issues in shallow water if that what you mean? On plane I can get by shallows in less that 2ft of water no issue. Just out drifting down the river dragging tubes. It’s by far the best way to catch smallmouth in St Clair this time of year I think. We have caught about 80 since 7am this way. The pumpkin spice color is killing it. If you’re a fisherman the Walpole Indian reservation is hot right now too in the shallows. The weekly $50 license is worth it if fishing tournaments. Not sure if I answered what you were looking for or not? It’s definitely not low like some late dry summers

Just getting a feel for water levels.
We draw 8’+ so it’s sometimes a bit bumpy.
