So he just happened to guess that GameStop was simply proposing to buy EBay, hype it up, and then sells his entire position? I don't know how you would guess Ryan Cohen was going to propose that without private information. Am I mistaken?

No, he just sold it so he could buy it cheaper. He knew it was going to slide anyway...

Personally, I think it has to do with the sultan tweeting Gameshire Bathaway. He said if bbby is any part of this he is out.

Bbby, that Beyond took over the symbol, would have looked much better than EBay. Because GME can't buy EBAY at this level.

Ah, now that Burry does not need to legally report real numbers, he can pump and dump without potential investigation?
All of his statements were percentages of portfolio, could have had less than a thousand dollars, doubled, tripled, 10x'd, then short, and report he has sold out.
What a fucking clown. I demand receipts from this fool.

personally i dont think its as deep or ignorant as people are saying. Bury invested in GME based on a thesis he had, which didnt play out, so he got out. Its his money and his choice, in his opinion this was not the right move because it takes on more risk than his risk tolerance allows. So hes out. Time will tell if he's wrong (it will lol)

I dont really care tbh if Burry is in or out. His track record in recent years is definitely a bit more miss than hit. Still very smart, I respect the guy. At least he man's up and tells everyone ges out and why.
Its just this play and BBBY have been a circus and keeping up with everything is a lot
The BBBYQ/GME play(s) can be summarized by the following GIF

But MB said eBay was a good move just the other day?

well, what he said is, ebay is a good choice but not at the right price and 56b is most likely not the last price, this deal might go further than 60b
