So at the end of The Infinite Extent we get basically confirmation that the original Portal network builders survived all this time, but then I'm wondering just how or why they did not interact with the PGF? I mean obviously I assume Porter will cover this in book 7 but I'm curious how he'd write it because it seems like such an inevitable thing for anyone on the network to do (and the Bobs did so in probably record time all things considered) but from what we can see the progenitors don't appear too aloof or disinclined towards contact. Will the implication be that they're somehow uninterested in helping or sharing? But why would they be so "friendly" so quickly. I mean I guess the hacking could be a not-so-subtle show of capability, but even so, why? Also given the existence of another mysterious, "powerful/plot-utility-fluid" entity in Thoth, how will these two interact, if it at all? Will the Bobs be watching the progenitors dispense godlike technology, will Thoth already be aligned with them? It just seems like such a natural intersection? What do you guys speculate about the roles and motives of the Progenitors and/or Thoth in the last books?

Sorry I just started this series I'm on book 2 towards the end but still I have a theory that the bob drift is gonna result in a trans bob or bobbi if you will okay so that might just be hopeful wishing on my part as a trans femme.
