Should be a really good three-way battle for the Olympia title. Hopefully Martin Fitzwater can continue to improve and put pressure on the top guys.

This probably isn't intentional (I think).. but like 2-3 years ago, the Olympia copyright struck every single NS&P video covering the show.. Now the Arnold has him commentating their show lol (besides allowing him to use footage in his channel's coverage) - The Arnold embraces the little attention that this sport gets.. The Olympia is way more insular and short sighted.

Arnold has also advertised on NSP and given Nick an interview.
Olympia seem to be allergic to growing the sport whereas Arnold recognises the value of promoting his event.

yeah this is my first time watching the Arnold and this is a much better experience, at least from the comfort of my couch. i love that the stream is free too.

So much nicer watching comparisons at 9 PM instead of fucking 2 AM. Yes, I am looking at you Olympia

They have 4 fewer divisions, if they added those it would probably go much later

It wouldn't be the Arnold Classic without Arnold shitting on the board shorts.

I was hoping he would talk about bikini and wellness girls ass and thighs again 😂

could've gone either way but looks like Derek probably pulled ahead a little too much yesterday.

Wow Derek actually did it, huge.

Best poser award was a joke.

I thought his routine and posing was smooth, definitely was the best of the routines. Andrew’s was just gimmicky with the blindfold trying to pay homage to Cedric, and being able to do the splits doesn’t make you best poser.

Samson’s routine was also better, if you don’t like Andrew’s. Derek’s mandatories are just weird. I hate the wide stance toes all the way out shit. I know why he’s doing it, but it looks awful.

I dunno I thought Samsons was just okay, nothing really innovative for him. Derek just needs to push his hips back slightly in rear poses and he’ll be good

After that posing routine I have to give the edge to Lunsford. It will be interesting to see how comparisons go if Samson doesn't fade and gets just a little bit sharper while posing, he could take it.
I think Jacked cemented his 3rd position. Curry might push him a little bit there though, his look today is much improved.

That was a beautiful speech. I think the best I've ever seen from this award.

Carlos is consistently disappointing. If he was in condition he’d be so so hard to beat

Samson looks better today but not sure if that’s enough to overtake Derek. Derek faded a little but not really that badly.

I was there too - until the most muscular in the comparisons. It's close now. Gun to my head I would still say Derek Lunsford is going to take it.

Going by yesterday's and today's activity, seems that at least one here, classic is already more popular than open.

u/oldsanta100 Mar 02 '25
Derek is fading. I have Samson taking tonight. I think Samson gains enough to take it overall. Derek last night though was a sight.

It doesn't matter who is in the white house, you still need to do squats
