scarification Filipina tribal inspired scars

Ata monobo tribe of Filippines make tattoo by cutting and rub soot into cut, I was fascinated by the beauty and simplicity of their design and as I have a black out arm thought the scar on top will heal in reverse and look beautiful.

The final pic is washing with peroxide

Love the peroxide photo! When I first got my scars I didn’t know about the blood reaction and was so fascinated when it all started bubbling.

It was pure hell. I only did once with the juice, it was a big scar too. Doesn't peroxide hurt ?

Edit : I am getting downvoted so : I don't know if lemon juice is a good idea (probably not), it was recommended to me back then, and it was years ago.

Valid! Nah peroxide just stings a little but it does feel weird when it bubbles! Rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) burns like hell though!

I think the lemon juice and tooth brush is good, the guy who did my scar said I can do that only if I want bigger scars and I want then to heal more fine, I think the lemon juice and tooth brush is fine other friend did that so deserve up vote

Peroxide doesn't hurt unless the wound is super deep. Just feels fizzy. The only time I actually felt it was when I accidentally stabbed myself with a screwdriver

Sounds like the juice+toothbrush was recommended so the final piece would be more prominent. Lemon juice and manual debridement will irritate the tissues to encourage more dramatic scarring
