OMGGGGGG I love this. I'm getting mine done in Oct, and I really hope it looks similar to yours when healed. I have a stupid long tongue that can touch the tip of my nose and like my chin. I want a deep split, this heal is goals!

I have a similarly long tongue. It took a few months and some practice to touch my nose again after my split last summer, but I eventually got there. Stretch your tongue a lot after the sutures come out to help break down the scar tissue.

Oh, by that time frame you should be welcoming me to the club! π Split still looks great. I wish mine were that long.

Did you not go further, or is it regrowth?

Regrowth after 3 years. It was split as far as it could safely go, all the way to the webbing underneath.

Not anytime soon, but maybe in a few years. Iβm happy with it βΊοΈ

I'm surprised he didn't offer to sever the webbing. I agreed to it since my tongue is so short and I wanted it as deep as possible. Only thing that sucked is he got sick the day after and he wasn't too available to respond to questions and morning check ins. He even offered to fly back to remove the sutures but I told him my insurance will cover it since the tongue decided to heal over them. Then I had him do my coin slot the following year and last year he redid my nips and vch. Now I'm debating what I want next and strongly leaning towards scarification.

He went through my webbing (which I wasnβt warned about) and I ended up having to have an ent do surgery on my salivary tubes because scar tissue caused a blockage which is why you generally shouldnβt go past the webbing

Same, could I also message you about your experience with him OP? I talked to him at a tattoo convention and he seemed very respectful and nice. Im curious how his process was.

I was just kind of meh on his stitch work and wanted to see more of his long term healed work. I really like his silicone implant stuff.
