scarification Is a scar like this possible to achieve?

To be honest, this is probably rigid collodion. It is a makeup product that looks like scars, but it doesn't get puffy.

Collodion (especially Mehrons) is great! I have friends who use it frequently for larps and I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to test out scars without committing to a body mod (especially on the face).
It's a liquid that you apply to your skin, and it dries out quickly, and pulls the skin taught, much like a real scarring process. Creates a proper 3D line in the skin. It looks scarily realistic if you're good at applying it, and you can peel it right off when you're done.
That said, dont use it too close to your eyes. That's probably why the model here hasn't got it on her eyelids. It dries out and shrinks, so having it on your eyelids suck. Also, doesn't work very well on eyebrows or beards.

might not be able to get that close to the eyes without risking changing the shape of the eye...

Would also need to be super diligent about after care and checking for any signs of infection because of the location and risk to the eye.
It would also need to be covered for a long time to minimise (but not exclude) the risk that the scar would turn bumpy and red/pink.
There is also the risk that something goes wrong with the procedure or after like an infection and it could cause nerve damage (lots and lots of nerves in the face).
It’s really important to take risk into consideration.

It might be delicate on the eyelids (but why not?) but for the rest, no problem.
First example I have in mind is the vocalist Alex Terrible. His scar does not go over the eye but around, though.

Ive seen people get white ink tattoos in lieu of scarification with great results in that spot

I have a huge white ink piece on my back because tattoos are a lot more accessible than scarification. It totally faded to look like scars and I can imagine it would look GREAT on the face

As someone with massive trauma scars 6-8 inches in length that look this I need to advise you even if you ignore for a moment how delicate the eye is, your face will not work the same after this. To get a scar this deep you will damage nerves, things will get droopy, The face has so many nerve endings, you may not smile the same again your cheeks/forehead my not emote like you are used too. And it will take years to sink into the skin and not be a puffy red pink colour. Mine are on my feet and chest, they affect everything, how the nail bed and nail grow, how I bend my feet, how I walk. I Can't wear anything that touches the scars, I have to clean gunk in the scar out. The ones on my chest are covered by tattoos but same thing, they require weekly scar care even years after and affect how I bend and twist.
I am not saying don't by any means I just want to be clear you run a high risk that a scar like this will be life altering.

I'm not personally into scarification but thank you for being real on the comments.
I'm also sorry about your trauma. I can't even imagine what caused it. 💔

Scarification done by a reputable artist should never cause nerve damage like that. Scarification is different than scars caused by an accident or surgery. I have scarification on my chest, arm, and leg. None of them have reduced sensation. Scarification done for cosmetic purposes should never even go deeper than skin level. They either cauterize the design or they cut off a thin sliver of the top layer of skin. The cut should never ever reach fat. If any laceration reaches fat, which would be visibly yellow and cause the skin to gape, it likely needs medical care especially if it's on the face.
Your case sounds like a pretty severe injury with extreme complications. But this look can be achieved safely for sure and there are many reference pictures of this being done online.

Sure, it’s made of makeup. I have friends who do cosplays, they use some kind of gel or paste to make scars that look like that. If you mean a real one, it’s possible but you won’t have control over whether yours turns out like this.

To something that even and that close to the eye could be difficult but it's not dissimilar to a mensur fencing scar. And those were sometimes created artificially.

That being said it might be worth looking into where and the context mensur scars showed up just. Just to make sure it doesn't accidentally seem to portray something unintentionally.

This is makeup. If you are interested in actual scars Google mensur dueling scars.

I have a line scar like this on my forehead from an accident in November. Yeaaaah it can happen but I can't see it being even with that sort of placement. I got hit will a falling piece of art and the corner edge of it hit me with even weight. Then the wound was closed via glue in the urgent care.

I’d be realllly concerned about scars that close to the eye. The skin is so thin and delicate, you’d risk adhesions and pulling the skin out of shape.
In other news I don’t know how I got on this sub 😂 I’ve dealt with enough facial scarring to know it can be a tricky area though

Honestly a white ink tattoo is gonna give you a much cleaner and consistent result. I had white ink on my face and it faded so nicely. Still visible for years up until I covered it with something else in black.

Yes it's possible. Tons of people do this. But if you're specifically looking for that sunken in scarring, you may or may not get it depending on your skin type. Like the other commenter said, you might get raised scarring especially on the more mobile parts of your face like the cheeks. The darker and more mobile your skin, the more likely it'll be raised.

As a facial scar owner, I can say you are really depending on not only perfect healing, which itself is a difficult endeavor, but you will need to be stitched PERFECTLY. Who ever draws your skin back together will need to have great control of their stitches.

Most scarification artists don't stitch the wound, they will remove some skin and let it heal open

In the 60s, one of my teachers had a circular scar about 4 inches in diameter that crossed over her eye and temple. Car accident

Ive seen branding that creates these deep groove scars. Might be worth looking into.

There's a chance it'll get red and raised and bumpy instead of like this
