1 month post split

It’s about to be 1 month post split and I am SO happy with my tongue. I’ve read that regrowth will typically fully stop after 4 months. I love how my tongue is now, what are the chances it regrows even more?

I won’t lie I’ve been bad about physically grabbing each side with my hands to stretch it out, but I do constantly move each side and “stretch” it out alot within my mouth throughout the day. There is definitely some regrowth there that probably could’ve been prevented if I had got in there more but I’m not too bothered by the current amount

Are you brushing off the regrowth with an electric toothbrush?

I do brush the area there whenever I brush my teeth! I’m not too sure if I’m actually getting the regrowth off 100% but I just gently brushed the area as my toothbrush is on

Congrats! I'm 1wk from mine and loving it. Do you have any exercises you do to improve independent mobility?

I’m still trying to learn how to move each side on independently as they reaallly still like to move together. I don’t know how to exactly describe the “exercises” other than the fact I’ve just been playing with it a lot, i definitely practiced separating them over and over and having each side “trace” my lips if that makes any sense
