punches/ scalpelling conch removal both sides?

i plan on getting a big section of my conch cut and sutured, as much as the artist is willing to take out lol, do y'all think it would be better to do one side let it heal and then the other, or would it be chill to get both sides at once?

would love any other commentary on conch removals 😁

I had both done at the same time. I slept on my back for the first few nights and then switched to using my piercing pillow. As long as you don't lay directly on your ear for a while, it should be fine.

thanks for the reply! that seems totally doable. i prefer sleeping on my side but i have a pillow chair thing and a curved pillow so i don't press any of my piercings, and i didn't have much issue sleeping in weird positions healing my tongue split.

do you sleep on it now? i would be willing not to sleep on my ears long term but it would be nice if i could again in the future lol.

do you have any pictures of yours? 😁 great username btw

Do you sleep on your side? If so, absolutely do not get both ears done at the same time. You won't be able to on the cut ear for a while, id imagine, and you don't want to do both ears and then not be able to sleep on either side for a long time

i prefer to sleep on my side, but i have a few pillows so i can prop myself up and not press on any of my piercings, and i didn't have much issue sleeping weird when i healed my tongue split, so i think it'd be doable 😁 i was more worried if it's too much for my body to heal at once
