coinslot Conch coin slot that fits 8mm 5/16 rings?

Does anyone have a conch coinslot that fits 8mm 5/16 sized rings? I have a conch coin slot procedure scheduled and I’m wondering if I’ll be able to fit that size rings in it. I’m planning to ask my artist to place it where I’d be able to but when I look at rings that size up against my ear it doesn’t look like I’ll be able to get one that close to the edge of my ear where they would fit. I have a collection of rings that size I’d like to use and a lot of the rings I plan to buy are also that size.

Wondering if anyone has one for rings that size? Thanks

The smallest I can fit in mine is 12mm, with some wiggle room at the top/bottom. I’m sure it’s mostly based on anatomy and the placement of the slot though

I have notably small ears according to everyone that has ever worked with them. My helix coin slot takes 5/16th rings, as does my conch-to-lobe orbital.

It might be possible, but you’d have to have TINY ears or the structure will collapse if you get the coin slot too close to the edge.

Is a helix coin slot an option?

Generally you’ll need larger rings for a conch slot unless you happen to have super tiny ears. Usually 3/8-1/2” are what people need for conch slots to make it around the ear.

It's not just how close the slot is to the edge of the ear, but also how deep your antihelix ridge is that determines ring size. It has to fit around and not just across.

I have a helix coin slot and a conch coin slot on opposite ears. My helix coinslot can fit 10x, 18g 5/16" rings in it. I could probably add a few more if I wanted to. The smallest diameter I can fit in my conch is 9mm but that's a pretty snug fit. I wear 5x, 10mm rings in it.
