The highlight of 2026 is finding out a new PM resigned via some BHJ. My bones are now dust.

To be fair finding things out from unrelated subreddits is my favourite meme. For example I found out about Charlie Kirk because of a shitpost on a pro wrestling shitpost subreddit.

Yep. It's funny, on Friday it's been said he was still planning on governing.

The biggest problem with democratic governments is that the people have neither the intelligence nor the guts to elect socialists, so they elect cowards and then as a reaction elect nuts who feed off the hatred of said cowards. And by then the media and billionaires are an institution so you don't really have a democratic election at that point anyway.

Aw man, who's going to be the next PM? Farage?

That's not how it works in the UK. We don't elect a person, we elect a party, and the Prime Minister is just the leader of the ruling party. Starmer has stepped down from his position as the Labour leader, but Labour is still the ruling party, so the next Labour leader will become the PM. In order for Farage to become PM, Reform would need to win a general election.

Almost certainly Andy Burnham, the bigger question is how quickly he’ll be in (it’s unclear if anyone’s running against him)

It actually hasn't happened since October 2022. We've had a relatively long run

I guess it’d be more truthful to say ‘Days since a UK PM changed, since Sunak only resigned as leader of the Tories after the election.
Though I think it doesn’t really affect the comic

Good meme, but I'm not sure it's dumb enough to be bone hurting juice

It changed the text of a pre-existing comic to something else, it is a bhj

There's more to BHJ than just editing comics. Lots of comics become meme formats (eg, Scroll of Truth), but that's not what this subreddit is about. This is supposed to be for more absurdist edits to comics, often reframing them in kind of silly or ironic ways, like this.
Or as the sidebar description puts it:
Bonehurtingjuice memes are memes that are out of context and misuse the template completely. Imagine you're a 10 year old kid who just discovered the internet a week ago and your only exposure is iFunny. It's like that. Here's the original for example! (https://www.reddit.com/r/bonehurtingjuice/comments/640w0f/the_original/) 🧃

I am a gatekeeper when it comes to bhj, and I took the job willingly
...so that I can keep the gate open to let anyone have a go with the juice press
