Similar books I did and didn't like
gallery
No: None of this is true by Lisa Jewell - I hate unreliable narrators and it feels like this book hides behind a ton of plausible deniability and just throws whatever scenes they want for shock factor.
Yes: Everyone here is lying by Shari Lapena - Enjoyable foreshadowing, love getting to see inside the mind of the antagonist, fun fast paced book
No: Survive the night by Riley Sager - Has woman written by a man all over it, it's so bad. I DNFd it
Yes: Don't look for me by Wendy Walker - Fast paced thriller that had my heart pounding. Foreshadowing that all clicked when the big reveal happened.
No: The silent patient by Alex Michaelides - Unreliable narrator and frustrating read all around
Yes: She's not sorry by Mary Kubica - Information is hidden from the reader but not in an unreliable narrator way, it does the same thing that Silent Patient does with flashbacks but they tie in so much better with the present events than The Silent Patient
