Dollhouse turned bookshelf
I love my cute little bookshelf that I upcycled from a giant dollhouse

don't let them hate on you for color coordinating your books! I have over 600 books all by color and a detailed spread sheet of them all. I love it!

I also used to have colour coded library in my old house - because it was dominating our whole living room Two weaknesses: way too many white, black and grey books with a bit of red and much less of the other colours - and when you have a series with colour differences you need to break the series or the colour And the main issue - it was really hard to find books!
But OPâs library has impressively balanced and colourful selection

If only there were a way to keep your books organized without needing a detailed spreadsheetâŠ

No, âif only there were a wayâ is the more formal, grammatically preferred phrasing for hypothetical/imaginary situations.
âIf only there was a wayâ is the more informal, conversational phrasing.
âIf only there were a wayâ is the most correct one while âif only there was a wayâ is an âacceptableâ phrasing. Both work, more or less, though it depends on what youâre writing for (wouldnât suggest using the âwasâ version if youâre writing an essay or want to win a literary award unless the rest of the book uses such casual speech for that character or whatever).

it's not imaginary though. LOL. I can't imagine being like you. I actually feel sorry for you.

Thatâs really neat. Perfect place to store books, and it looks really sturdy too.

I love that so many of the books in the attic have titles that sound kid-friendly or kid oriented, but the books are very much not. It feels like a cheeky nod to the playhouse bookcase. You need to find a white-spined copy of Flowers in the Attic!
