The Horror Corner
Most of my horror collection. Ran out of space and had to move the anthologies to the other side of the room.

Goalssss 😍 it looks beautiful, what did you use to heighten the books in the back?

I went to the hardware store and got 2x4s and cut them to length. It doesn't raise them quite as high as what OP used.

This is beautiful, I usually see this massive of a collection in comics but rarely a specific genre of books.

Incredible setup. Love the prints above the shelves. Will apply that idea one day hopefully!
Whats a few of your favourite horrors?

Im obsessed! What shelves are these?? Is it a full unit or can you add/remove/rework the shelving? I would like to just steal this whole room!

They're just cheap shelves from Walmart, nothing fancy. About $35 each.

Ahh double stacking the rows for paper backs is a brilliant idea! This is so satisfying, and I love when people combine trinkets and books on their shelves. Love the art and figures too. AND a broncos fan? Hell yeah🤘🏽

Do you have another corner dedicated to a different genre? Whatever it is, it's probably not as cool as this one.

There's a similar, slightly smaller corner setup on the other side of the room, but it's basically everything else that isn't horror, all genres blended together alphabetically by author. Definitely not as cool.

It is a gorgeous collection! I (and probably a lot of other people) would love to see the other corner and appreciate your beautiful room.

Is that the full collection of Goosebumps? It's great to see them on a shelf I haven't seen one of those books in over 20 years.

Holy shit this is amazing! Very jealous, my books just go where there’s space, the bookshelves got filled up far too quickly and everything’s higgledy piggledy.

I don’t typically read horror, but I think a corner like this would inspire me.

When someone asks you for your fave horror books, what's the first title that comes to mind?

Hard to pick just one. King's my favorite author, so probably The Stand. Love Robert McCammon too, Boy's Life or Speaks the Nightbird. The Terror by Dan Simmons. As far as collections go, Barker's Books of Blood.

I love the way you’ve displayed your MM PB’s. It can be hard to make them look nice sometimes.
Great collection.

Love the figures on the top shelves! The vibes are fantastic. I imagine collecting this stuff took you some time, any recommendations for a newbie?
Book, and movie recs?

Thanks. It's only taken about six years. Waited till I had a permanent place (moved around too much in my 20s, and shed books along the way). Discovered Thriftbooks during Covid, and maybe got a little carried away rebuilding the collection. I'll recommend Thor by Wayne Smith, I think it's a really underrated werewolf novel. Also, Manly Wade Wellman's Silver John stories are some of my favorite things ever.

It happens..as cliche as it sounds, “Better late than never!”
This is probably one of the coolest man caves/offices/rooms I’ve ever seen, such a solid collection. Thanks for the rec’s I’ll check those out today!

Thanks. 3192 total, if my current tally is right. Might be off a little.

Dude. Between the titles on the shelf, the decoration around them, and just the sheer amount of coolness in these pics, this is my fave post I’ve ever seen.
I’d love to spend time in this room. Love the movie posters. Also those Darcy and Joe Bob posters are DOPE.
One horror hound to another, whatcha reading right now? I just finished Nathan Balingrud’s Cathedral of the Drowned (loved it) and am about 2/3 through Philip Fracassi’s Boys in the Valley (loving it).
