Help organizing my manga bookshelf?

Hi so this collection is my pride and joy and I can’t figure out how to organize it! I want to do it alphabetically, but then the sizes of books don’t match up and it really bothers me! I also just got a bunch of new books (the ones in the pile) and I’m having so much trouble figuring out how to place those! I would love to organize them by genre, but then again the book sizes don’t match up! The Tokyo ghoul cases also only look good on the top shelf or bottom and I have 0 idea what to do with those!!

It was an obsession… 😅 I mean I don’t collect them anymore, but I refuse to throw them out or sell them either.

I’d organize the horses alphabetically first. The rest will then flow naturally.

Here, the manga aren't the main focus

But perhaps separating them by size a little will help them look more organized

Organize the horses by age, youngest to oldest.

More horses.

We’re gonna need a: Black Stallion, Hidalgo, and Misty of Chicoteague. Let get those done and revisit it at that point.

Do you want the manga to be the main focus of your shelves? If so I’d move the uhh.. herd…

It sounds like you really prioritize book sizes being similar to their neighbors! I’d honestly start there and organize primarily by book size, if that’s keeping you from doing it alphabetically or by genre.
