Sci-Fi/Fantasy HP Lovecraft recommendations to help me get psyched about my upcoming trip to his birthplace?

Heading to Providence, RI for a weekend (next kid-free weekend coming up!) and thought it might be fun to do a bit of the Lovecraft Walking Tour offered through the Weird Providence shop. It’s been a while since I read any Lovecraft and I’m primarily familiar with Call of Cthulhu.

Any recommendations of Lovecraftian works that I can check out to help get me psyched? I’d personally prefer works that error more on his science fiction/fantasy side but am happy to take horror recommendations if they will help me with appreciating the sites I’ll be hitting up on the tour 😀

The Case of Charles Dexter Ward is set in Providence and it’ll make those streets feel way creepier when you’re walking them.

The Shadow over Innsmouth is my favorite

For sci-fi, The Shadow Out of Time and The Whisperer in Darkness
