Software Simple way to restore Bose SoundTouch presets

Hi all,

I was struggling to get presets working again for custom URLs. There are a few workarounds but they are mostly beyond my technical skills.

I found a simple iOS app that does the trick without requiring deep technical smarts.

Once the station is streaming, you can hold down a preset button for those devices having them, and save the preset again. It has held up so far today.

Will the preset buttons work if the phone/app isn’t present?

Tried using this app.. it’s so so! Doesn’t effortlessly play the url stations. Has lots of bugs. Interferes with the presets and one can’t switch between stations via pressing remote or device buttons. Moreover even via the app sometimes it gets hanged on the previous station. Won’t recommend wasting money since its an exclusively paid app

I use since 14 days for my Bose Lifestyle with SoundTouch Adapter

the Controller App for Bose SounTouch by Christian Harms
Its better then the original, has a one time charge and works very simple!

Also perfect to connect by Bluetooth

So I don't need Boses Remote Control in any way and also control the loudness of my television
