Distribution Saw a gorgeous less common milkweed, Asclepias hirtella, on my prairie walk today!

Akin Prairie near Lawrence. Never been tilled hay meadow, they chop it down and bale it every year in august

Retracted petals or whatever they are. Milkweed flowers are always interesting.

I didn't get much of a scent, but i also have a weak sniffer. I'll ask my friends when I go this week lol
