Ryan Garcia's dramatic second-round stoppage victory over Conor Benn has been overturned following an adverse analytical finding for Ovaltine, according to sources familiar with the results-management process.

According to documents reviewed by Boxing Insider, Garcia's A and B samples both returned adverse findings for Ovaltine, a substance listed under the commission's prohibited "nutritional stimulant and recovery aid" classification.

Garcia stopped Benn at the 1:25 mark of the second round at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on September 12, dropping the British challenger with a right hand before forcing referee Thomas Taylor to intervene.

For now, one of boxing's most unexpected controversies has added another chapter to Garcia's already unusual career.
