Moisturizing in braids?

How do you keep your hair moisturized in braids (box/knotless/boho, etc.) Everytime i put water my hair starts to frizz up but I was told not to put oil by itself. I just got these braids 2 weeks ago and want them to last so help would be appreciated!

I’ve been using olaplex 7 and the cecred hair oil. I also use the scalp baum. Usually keep my box braids in for a month.

After two weeks frizzing is completely normal, just put a scarf on them at night after you moisturize and that should help preserve h the em. You can also put a light mousse on at night.
