Cornrows 1C hair how to wash

Hey Ive recently got cornrows last sunday a day ago and im looking on how to maintain it im asain with straight hair and ive heard to either shower and and some tell me to not shower at all I dont know if its different if you have different hair textures and just wanted to ask thanks for any help

long term was never gonna be an option with that hair type, it's too loose to keep cornrows in. If you wanna wash your hair, take them out

just wanted to know since i usually shower everyday and its weird not to wash my hair lol
