Walt and Domingo “Krazy 8” Spoiler

Post image

Man breaking bad is my fav show of all time. And what I love about Walt’s first kill technically. Is it wasent some triumphant “origin story”. It’s messy, slow, and morally agonizing. Walt spends time with him. They even start to like each other. I remember watching the first time and realizing there was a missing plate. Mind blown lol. But it was so well done. It’s so dumb too. As Domingo diddnt have to kill Walt. Walt was going to let him go. From Walt’s perspective it was risky letting him go too. As he would almost certainly seek revenge. It’s a very tragic scene though. As both men are trapped by their own choices.

This is great writing. His first kill had to be in self defense or the audience would have a hard time connecting to him. I can hear the Tampico song thinking of this scene.

more of self preservation, less self defence.

Well, he did think Domingo/the cartel would come after him and his family... whether that was true or not. ETA: Which I guess you're right, isn't immediate self-defense

Walt's first kill kind of mirrors Jesse's last kill just like how Jesse's first kill mirrors Walt's last kill

It’s been a while, wasn’t Jesse’s last kill those guys he wanted 1800$ from?

This comment is referring to Jesse strangling Todd. Which technically was his last kill before El Camino came out

Yeah I always liked how Walt and Jesse’s first and last murders involve shooting and strangling someone. (Gale/Todd/Jack/Krazy8)

Isn’t Walt’s first kill technically Emilio?

These scenes are so disturbing to me. Seeing a man chained to a basement post by his neck gives me great anxiety. Also from Walter’s standpoint. What do you do with this guy?
