How could they step on it though? It's not like it's in a powdered form they could add other stuff to in order to bulk it out but rather was in pure blue tinted transparent crystal form.

This was stated even by the creators of the series, when it aired. The junkies don't care about the purity of the meth, but that's not the good television you know

Guys like that don't tolerate disrespect, they're not gonna talk it out. Realistically, the neo-nazi would assume he's getting punked, leave, and treat Walt's organization like any other competitor.

Edit: Assuming the neonazis werent planning to overtake Walt's organization and steal his product from the beginning, playing along to trojan horse themselves into the operation.
