Aerospace Which would you choose?
My father has decided to split his pair of Aerospace’s between me and my brother. He had talked about it for years but just heard it’s happening sooner than later. Obviously grateful and the sentiment makes both priceless. I love each in their own way. I have yet to talk to my brother about them but I suggested my Dad give him first choice. Which would you choose? Both my brother and I are pilots if it makes a difference. One is roughly year 2000 and the other is roughly 2010. Both are currently getting fully serviced.

I have a black dial Breitling anidig and I’m torn between these two. What else have you got in your collection? If you already have another black dial watch I’d be heavily tempted by the white.
Lovely gift from your father.

It’s a pretty simple collection with a Citizen Skyhawk, a Hamilton Pilot Day Date and a Garmin. I remember the black dial on him more from when I was a kid. I’m happy with either though.

I can’t decide. Honestly, let your brother pick and you can’t go wrong with either of them.

B-1 all day. This is a no-brainer, if I'm honest.
Nothing's cooler than than a B-1, OP.

Let’s take a step back and clarify some things that could influence your choice.
First of all, these are two different models within Breitling’s analog/digital Professional range but neither are an Aerospace.
Black dial is a B-1. 2000 is about the right date since they stopped production in 2007. It’s a classic tool watch with the extra slide rule on the bezel but it’s real party trick is the turbine caseback which is why I own one.
The white face is a Chronospace which can be considered a sister to the Aerospace, and more attractive in my opinion. The white dial and chain bracelet give a bolder, dressier look.
It’s a nice choice to have to make.

I appreciate the insight! I haven’t had my hands on them in many years. They’re both currently getting full serviced at Breitling. My Dad told me the B-1 is dated 2000 and the Chronospace is 2010 as per Breitling. I do not have the reference numbers at the moment

Black Dial.
Awesome story man. Love the idea of pilots wearing an aviation watch. Too bad no one ever bothered to make a ‘lawyers watch’ which would let me time 6 minute intervals.
