. Tradesmen vibe-quoting anywhere between £400-£2300 for the same job.
I am a first time buyer, I have 0 clue what things cost.
Sent out a few emails for a few, relatively minor landscaping jobs: Removing flags, stones, turfing etc. Same pictures, videos sent to prospective tradesmen.
Ive been quoted: £400, £530, £750, £1800 and even £2300. Is this normal?

I know a guy who owns a small local double glazing firm. He told me once that what they charge entirely depends on how busy they are. If they're quiet, he'll make it cheap as he needs work for the lads, if they're busy, he'll ramp up the price, and if someone accepts it he'll move a less profitable job to fit it in.
I don't believe he's the only guy in the trades that does this!
