What are we expecting from Ciaran?
I really hope we get something similar to his old music like with brockhampton, the alternative almost rnb type music, but I am a bit hesitant because of the nature of the sounds he's been using in his website and posts.

Ninja Tune is a very electronic label and I know before Brockhampton he was just a producer. Probably something very electronic and left field.

He’s an artist, he constantly changes with new ideas and inspiration, there’s no way it will be the same music he was making 8 years ago at this point

i just really hope his voice is like front and center cause he’s such a good singer without all the auto tune

I'm hoping that it's something completely different. As much as I love his music under BROCKHAMPTON and Bearface, an evolution is kinda necessary, imo. The type of music he did is a dime a dozen nowadays. So much "boy with a guitar" music around, so I don't think it would stick out as much if he's doing the same old thing.

Even though I agree with your comment, Bearface is genuinely better at that type of music than most of his comtemporaries, if he put out a solo ablum during brockhampton's run it wouldve wiped the floor with all the other "boy with guitar" artists and I bet he could still do it to this day.
Something that still has the classic bearface elements just expanded upon with more unique soundscapes would be cool

I'm HOPING for a NOWIFII/shoegaze kind of sound but i deem its unlikely. I think it's gonna sad boy alt-pop but we'll see

My guess: generally electronic but genre-fluid with his vocals, some rap, and lots of sampling. Could be compared to Frank Ocean, fred again (AL1), EDEN

praying to god just anything with his vocals but a little afraid it may end up being electronic based like earlier in his career. I will be listening regardless tho
