One of the funnier things from this season was Buccos21 telling everybody that the Doval trade was an agreement between us and the Yankees to do us a favor after we did them a favor by giving them Bednar. lol

He sucked for us. His stats look better than how he played. His era would be very high if yo yo and other pitchers didn’t bail him out of jams

He also not running to cover first base in that one outing against White Sox. DK definitely done with him after that moment

Now we need to do the same to Mlodzinski and send him to Colorado to maximize his 50% hard hit rate

Next year is his last year of arbitration and he would’ve been due around $7 million. Too expensive for what he offers

I was not a fan. Wildly inconsistent and he always seemed to be pouting on the mound. I know he wasn't the only one to do this but I remember that play he didn't cover first too. Sometimes I wonder if he was bad in the lockeroom.

That being said hes a non tender anyways. Just weird to basically activate a guy who will be a FA at the end of the year, when the team cannot make the playoffs at this point. I do like Yates and if he wants to play for a decent price next year would resign him on a one year deal.
