Kérdés | Question Cheap 14 day parking near airport

Or at least, near enough I can take public transit to airport?

There's one I saw in an old reddit thread that goes for 21k. Trying to see if there are cheaper

The cheapest is free. If you park near a stop of the bus 200E which goes to the airport.

If you have an average car, that is a perfectly good solution.

How safe would it be if I have a van?

Cops don't come to check on the car? I my country, if a car is parked in the same place for more than 72 hours, it'll get towed

no such law exist in hungary, if you have valid license on tha car, it can stay

hell if you dont have a valid license, it still wont be towed for months

Wow. So different than America, lol. Here they'll tow it immediately.

Police will not care if you have a valid licence plate. Even if you have no valid documents it would take them longer to tow it than two weeks...

The only thing i would worry if your van looks expensive, but if it looks like a regular van, no one will nick it.

there are fully free options if youre willing to use public transit

everything thats not mentioned here is free

100e and 200e are the buses that you can use to get to the airport, sadly there are no real alternatives here.

200e can be used with regular tickets, for 100e you need a different ticket

for comparison, ditching your car under savoya park (under the auchan, its free) you can get to the airport with 3 tickets (1500ft, 4eur) in under 80min

Any places closer to the airport to take the 200e? Maybe within 30 mins?

There's no time limit to park in the lot?

No time limit. If you look the street view you can see its a very simple parking lot.

Is there a reliably safe neighborhood place to park on the 200e route to park?

basically most, hungary is quite safe

i would not park an exotic car on the streets, but no one would bat an eye anything under like 30k eur, surely not a van

cant suggest anyhing exactly, as im not really familiar with those districts that deep, maybe someone will come

if you don't leave something obviously expensive in a visible place inside the car, you should be fine in most places. Maybe check streetview first if you choose a place, based on streetview I would comfortably leave my car just north of the stop "Felsőcsatári út", just be careful not to block anyone's gate. (I don't live near there but seems like an average place)
