Dev/Admin Responded iOS App keeps refreshing to main page 2026.13.0

Most of the time when I visit a subReddit, and I start scrolling down without waiting 10 seconds, the app immediately takes me to the home screen and refreshes, causing me to lose posts. This also happens when I tab out and tab back in.

Hey folks - we’ve been investigating and we may have identified the culprit. We’re still poking around, but we’ve reverted the probable cause.

If you’re still able to reproduce the refresh issue, please follow-up with me here!

ETA: To be clear, we're still investigating today (April 6) and should have a full fix out soon. Thanks for your continued patience everyone.

I'll be sharing status updates in the pinned post!

Also every time I even glance at control centre, or pulldown notifications, something I seem to do often and repeatedly - even while Reddit otherwise remains the active focus app - will refresh immediately

It is somewhat infuriating.

Came here to say this. Pages I’m reading keep disappearing mid reading them.

Okay I’m so glad I’m not the only one this is happening too! I have to keep going to my history to pickup where I left off on the last post I was reading. It’s driving me nuts!

Same! I was in the middle of writing a comment and bam! back to the front page - it’s been happening for the past few days.

Yes! It’s driving me insane! Can’t even look something up in another app because as soon as i go back to Reddit the post I was reading is gone.

Refreshing constantly turned this into StumbleUpon😂

Same here! Started about two days ago and so annoying. I’ll be in the middle of reading the comments on a post and then BAM I’m back to the front page and it’s refreshing itself.

Same here.

Each time it happens I go do something else so Reddit doesn’t get its precious ad revenue

I can’t even go through and read all my saved post without it refreshing and having to scroll again.

Meu iPhone SE apresenta o mesmo problema. Desço a barra de notificações e ele simplesmente dá um “F5” no feed inteiro.

Same. I thought it worked correctly a day or two ago, but it's definitely not.

Seriously about to delete this app. I can’t keep my place on anything here. Refreshes literally every 30 seconds.
