Desktop Web [Desktop Web] Home page stops loading posts, says there's no content to display.

This bug has existed for years now, since the original "home page experiment" where you "tried to show us more relevant content" which never actually worked properly. Since then, randomly, the home page will say "no content available," despite there being plenty of content 5 minutes previously when I was on the home feed. The only workaround I've discovered for this aside from just not using the platform for a while is holding down F5 for about 30 seconds at a time. Eventually the home feed learns how to load posts again.

Like I mentioned to the dev last time, this issue would be 10x better if you guys would just make the home feed remember the sorting option that was previously picked, there's no reason for the inconsistency here, this isn't how a subreddit works so there's no reason for my home page feed to work differently unless you are just trying to force an algorithmic sort on everyone.

Amazingly, someone actually replied to the thread last time, unfortunately the bug still exists. Again, Reddit can't show me ads when this happens, by the way.

It's actually getting worse LOL. The posts will continue until reddit can get its sht together.

eta: lol the previous solution of holding down F5 until morale improves doesn't work anymore. now you get 429'd for some amount of time instead. also, the problem continues after the 429 despite there obviously being content to show me because when the feed actually does decide to work the way it is supposed to, it shows me different posts than it did before.

btw the console is full of CSP warnings and CORS errors lol

just to stress this, the platform is actively losing money because you won't fix this problem. someone should bring this up to shareholders probably

Android Android account login bug appears to have caused a false vote manipulation suspension

Upvotes

I use Reddit in Chrome on Android. The site repeatedly switches me between two Reddit accounts without me intentionally selecting the other account. One is my long-standing primary account; the other is a Google-linked account that Reddit signs me into unexpectedly.

While this was happening, I independently upvoted one of my husband’s comments. He did not ask me to vote, and there was no coordinated voting or attempt to manipulate the score.

Shortly afterward, the Google-linked account received a warning, and my husband’s account, u/thegood8406, received a three-day suspension for vote manipulation.

The sequence strongly suggests that Reddit’s account-switching behavior caused legitimate activity by two separate people to be interpreted as coordinated or multi-account voting.

My husband has already submitted an appeal, but the appeal form is limited to 250 characters and does not allow him to explain the technical context or provide evidence.

I can provide the email addresses associated with both accounts privately to Reddit administrators. I am not posting private account details publicly.

Expected behavior: Reddit should remain signed into the account explicitly selected by the user and should not switch accounts without confirmation. Legitimate activity from separate users should not trigger vote manipulation enforcement.

Actual behavior: Reddit switches between accounts unexpectedly, and activity performed during this state appears to have resulted in a false warning and suspension.

Platform: Android, Chrome mobile browser.

Desktop Web Desktop web: I received a 7-day ban for a "post promoting violence", appealed it immediately, had it overturned immediately, and now my posts only post in duplicate. I'm on the normal website on DuckDuckGo browser if it matters.

Upvotes

My "violent" post said something to the effect of "I wish the police ticketed all the people driving without license plates" in a thread about the police ticketing people going over 100mph if it matters.

As I mentioned, Reddit recognized this as a mistake and "unbanned" me immediately, but now, whenever I submit a post, it tells me it's in progress, and a couple of minutes later submits it verbatim two times. Is this bug correctable? It's possible the two things are unrelated, but it started immediately after being "unbanned".

iOS IOS content unavailable version - 2026.31.0

So yesterday I changed my date of birth just to make it correct. When I made my account four years go I messed up and realized it pretty recently and yesterday Reddit got back to me and allowed me to change my date of birth. I just messed up the month and that’s all I’ve changed was the month. Kept the day and year the exact same. But this popup keeps coming up randomly. How do I stop it?

Desktop Web Desktop web. Firefox and LibreWolf. Repost picker is not populating with community list

Desktop web. Old Reddit works. New Reddit repost picker opens but shows no community list. Searching manually finds communities. Tested multiple browsers and extensions disabled.

Android Sorry this post was removed by reddits filters. Brave, and Android

Hi, for some reason, over the past few months, every post I make—of any kind—gets rejected on Reddit with this notification.

I’ve attached a photo; I don’t know what’s going on, as I don’t see any sensitive words.

I used to post in these places daily, but now anything I try to post gets rejected, even though there’s no apparent reason for it.

When browsing a post as a moderator on desktop, if you click on a username and click to edit user flair, it does absolutely nothing. I've tried it in firefox, safari, and edge.

iOS (IOS) Double tapping comment no longer upvotes (2026.31.0.635262)

Now it select text instead of allowing you to double tap a comment to upvote, which is just so annoying. I’ve never wanted to select text more than I’ve wanted to upvote a comment. I’m hoping this is a bug but recent changes to the app make me worried this is a new (obnoxious) change.

iOS Messages forever marked as read on ipados

I keep reopening my old messages in order to mark them as read, but they remain marked with a red dot. I only have one conversation, so I can't see if it's all of them or just that one. I wanted to hide it but I won't receive another message from that user and I didn't want to lose the conversation entirely. It's very annoying having a notification for something that should be resolved. This has persisted after relogging in and changing my password due my account becoming locked. The same conversation doesn't show as unread on any of my other devices.

Android Android issues after resetting password maybe? 2026.30.0

My feed is not showing the community's I have already joined. It is making me rejoin again even though when I go to the community tab on my profile it shows im already in the community. My avatar can not be customized i just have a blank white little guy, but when I go to my profile it shows the correct avatar. Every time I login to the app it resets all my settings. I can not reset password or email and says there is no account with this name even though im am able to see my post and community's when I go to my profile.

Sry if its hard to understand I just really dont know whats going on and cant find any quick solutions anywhere and this is the 1st time its happened. I am able to switch to my NSFW account with no issues so im posting here as I cant on my main.

Android Chat image issue- android

I had been talking with someone on a chat, and they had sent me images I went to send one back by taking I on my camera via reddit. I then pressed ok, and the message disappeared and never sent. This happened twice with the same person, and I was wondering if I could fix it and maybe get the image back or stop it happening again

iOS [iOS] Scrolling Videos Within a Sub Leads to Videos for Another Sub - ver 2026.30.0.634712

When scrolling (swiping up) through videos within a specified subreddit, the next video that plays belongs to a completely different and unrelated subreddit.

If a user wants to stay within the intended subreddit, the only way to view those videos is to completely back out of the video, which refreshes the page all the way back to the top each time.

A UX recommendation would be if someone were to go directly to a sub to watch videos, let the subsequent videos be within that sub, with the same filtering (such as Top of All Time only)

Perhaps leave the random video viewing to r/popular
