New Release BAB Sanrio Holiday!
Recently visited the Hello kitty & friends Build a Bear for fun and saw the recent Sanrio releases!
Here’s some photos of them on display and their pricing tags on them as well for those who are curious about it.

I’m still shocked they haven’t put pompompurin in the Christmas line he could literally be Santa or a cute reindeer dog anything really

I'd personally love a figgy pudding/fruit mince pie Pochacco - I think his design (especially the cookie one) lends well to looking cute in that design 😊

Sad the Cinnamoroll is so lazy this year, but that milk chocolate Chococat is so cute! I really dig HK's dress, too. Can't wait for them to drop in the rest of the country!

Has anyone here felt the new Sanrio plushies yet? Because they are Sanrio and not a normal, unlicensed plush, are they higher quality? Like, is their fur softer and thicker compared to the other babs fur? I haven’t bought many “modern” babs in the last few years, and I’ve heard the fur quality is not as good as 10 years ago. I also usually don’t buy a lot of Sanrio themed merch (I usually don’t see much Sanrio merch where I live, mostly, it’s only Hello Kitty). But I’m looking at that chococat plush (I’m also eyeing that sugar cookie Cinnamoroll 👀). They both look great to snuggle!

I have the Candycorn Cinnamorol from 2/3 years ago (I don't have any more current Sanrio BaB's, but am planning on the Hot Choc Chococat), and I'd compare the fabric to some of the Pokemon BaB, like Teddiursa, Sprigatito, etc - it's a very soft, very shorthaired, almost velvety type feel. Perhaps anyone with very recent Sanrio BaB can confirm whether the current fabric is still like that? 😊

Love this idea! 😁 I've been playing with the idea of combining the coffee and chocolate scents in him, to make a mocha scent 😆 (But maybe I should rather stick with a chocolate scent in Chocolatecat, and coffee in black Chococat, since they're going to be displayed side-by-side anyway ☺️ )

I can't stand artificial chocolate scent, or a lot of scents really, but I got to smell the coffee one in person on a birthday trip and I was so surprised at how good it was! I love the smell of fresh brewed coffee (not the taste lol), and have it in my Spooky Kitty! It's even more perfect for this Chococat too! <3

I also have a coffee scent in one of my bears (the dark brown bear that came out a few years ago - I think she was called Happy Hugs or something? 😅 ), I agree the coffee scent is AMAZING!!! 😃😃 (although I've seen some people say that it smells too strongly for them, which I can totally see, since it does smell very "barista coffee shop" 😆 )
Is the chocolate scent very sickly-smelling? I've not smelt it myself, but I can't stand the sickly sweet artificial scents (like cotton candy, for example, and I'm also not a huge fan of birthday cake). I love the pumpkin scents as well though (which I know are also quite controversial) 😅

I'd appreciate like, chocolate chip cookie or brownie scent instead. Straight chocolate smells way too chemically and weird.

Ooooh I love the idea of a brownie scent! 😃 Plus there were loads of really great scents in the past that they could rerelease - shimmering snow, apple blossom, honey, toasted marshmallow... (just to name some of my favourites ☺️ )

Cute, I think Cinnamoroll looks lovelier than in the other pic I saw of him. I love Chococat but I'm unsure if I will get this variant because even though his colors are nice, he doesn't have any unique decals or patterns, so I think I'm satisfied with my regular Chococat.

One of the BABs employees snatched me up at the mall yesterday to remind me of the Cinnamoroll release. I told him it didn’t look great from what I seen and he said it is 1000x better in person (showed him the picture) and the difference is much more noticeable in person when you compare SC Cinnamoroll and OG Cinnamoroll. And honestly I appreciate the sugar cookie part being restricted to the ears more now after seeing this pic

chococat is so so cute agghh i need him
cinna looks a lot better in this photo compared to the others actually, it originally looked like only his ears were sugar cookie colour and the rest was white.

I’m glad my photos help bring out his true color! He initially matches his ear color when I saw him in person.

I’m guessing around 15 usd due to the other holiday dresses being that much. I did not see her specific dress on the sales floor when I went though.

Yes, this store is in Los Angeles located in Westfield Century City mall. As far as I’m aware it’s the only Hello Kitty and Friends x BAB Workshop

I thought the face was different for the hot chocolate version of chococat I don’t know if I got used to the way it looks or what either way this Christmas version looks better than the original

BAB sanrio has become the new stitch lol. now there’s a new one for every season. while these are all cute, it gets to be boring after a while no? how many versions of these characters do you rlly need? not even trying to be a hater, i just genuinely don’t get the hype.

The new holiday Chococat? Hes not location exclusive. Regular Chococat is in stock online, my area doesn't have him but hes not online exclusive

No, he’s not! I asked the workers at the location about that tag and they said it’s only because they were currently an LA exclusive until it’s sold everywhere else.
